I don't have a massive experience to be honest... I was once hosted in London and arranged two casual coffee meetups in Paris.
It was absolutely fantastic though! I had a great time and believe I'll have a chance to run across more lovely people thanks to couchsurfing, because every person here I spoke to was awesome!
