Overview
About Me
I was born and raised in Fairbanks Alaska where I grew up working on my aunt and uncle's organic farm. I graduated from college with a degree in biology in 2015 and am pursuing a career in horticulture or something related. Last year I spent three months in Kenya taking a permaculture design course which was one of the most amazing times of my life. I am currently working at the National Arboretum in Washington DC.
I am generally a very outdoors oriented person (not big on city life but its definitely fun for a little bit) , easy to get along with, happy and friendly. I have a lot of curiosity about the people around me and am interested to learn anything I can and try new things.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I like to be able to meet new people when I travel and share in local culture wherever I am. I think the experience of travel is so much deeper when shared with people and when it can be spontaneous.
Interests
My interests generally revolve around the natural world and being outdoors as well as the arts, both performing and visual. I like to create and fix things and I love the process of figure out problems.
