Overview
About Me
Industrial design student from the Netherlands, recently came back from a long travel in South-America, where I had a lot of great experiences with couchsurfing. Right now I'm back in Rotterdam and like to keep this amazing thing going by hosting people. Always open to meet interesting, inspiring people in the hope we ca try to understand and learn from each other.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
In South America I was using couchsurfing mainly for getting more involved with the culture and the people, right now it seems great to keep meeting new people with different stories, share my culture with other people and keep my life interesting.

Music, Movies, and Books
In general, genres: electronic, punk, indie, reggae, ska, classic rock
I wish I could play an instrument, but my parents never dragged me to piano lessons when I was young, and now I don't have the patience to learn. Even though I don't play any instrument, I love music, and the power it has. Discovering a new great artist is like discovering a box of treasures to me.
I can enjoy almost any kind of music that has a soul, so to say. Some of my favourites include David Bowie, Talking Heads, Van Morrison, Dire Straits, Fink, Ben Howard, Soléy, Radiohead, Eddie Vedder, Fat Freddy's Drop, The Smiths, AnnenMayKantereit, and more...
To be honest, I haven't read so many books. Something about little patience and time. Recently finished On The Road by Jack Kerouac, which I think is amazing, and I am open for more recommendations!
My favourite movie has to be Entouchables. Also Into The Wild is pretty high on the list. (And then there is the movies that I cannot proudly name, but really love, like Love Actually, Notting Hill, Bridget Jones, Mamma Mia!, and everything Disney.)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Some... Hitchhiking the coast of Colombia, sleeping and waking up on the beach, camping aside a mountain lake in the krater of a vulcano, exchange semester in Lisboa.
I guess most important of everything was sharing with friends these experiences.
What I Can Share with Hosts
