I started to travel by myself when I was 15 years old and had the opportunity to go to the USA/Disneyland, it was the first time I was traveling abroad and I didn't know anyone who was going to the same excursion. Despite that, I didn't think twice, it was a great opportunity and I wouldn't waste it.
But it was just when I went back to Brazil that I realized how amazing that experience was and how I didn't regret going by myself (like some people my age thought I was crazy to do).

The first thing I learned is that I enjoy my own company and the second and most important: I wasn't alone, I met a lot of people and had the opportunity to make new friends. That was the moment in my life I understood that I wanted to travel and meet new people whenever I have the chance to do so. I enjoy connecting with people through other cultures, learning about their background and their language. I feel everyone I meet has a fascinating story to share and can always teach me something whether it's related to their professional, culture or language.
