Mi nombre es Gerson. He vivido fuera de chile por razones misioneras y he viajado por razones de aventura. Crecí en una familia ligadas a las misiones [JUCUM] creo que desde ahí viene mi pasión por ayudar y viajar. Volví a Chile a terminar mis estudios universitario (un compromiso con mis padres) y al terminarlos pretendo ir en un viaje desde la Patagonia hasta Alaska en un camper. Siempre recibo personas que necesitan un lugar para quedar, ya sean misioneros y viajeros. Soy un amante de las culturas. Practico un arte marcial llamado "Jiu-Jitsu Brasileño". Estoy siempre en una búsqueda constante de nuevos lugares para aventura. Me encanta el contacto con la naturaleza y animales. Mi sueño ? conocer las auroras boreales. Me considero alguien amable, divertido, siempre tengo ganas de conocer nuevas culturas con sus realidades, pero sin prejuicio y con humildad. Tengo una frase: "no existen culturas malas o buenas, solo existen culturas diferentes"... En mis tiempos libres practico Jiujitsu, y comparto con amigos. Me encanta la buena musica, la comida, acampar. Soy muy sociable, pero la soledad no me desagrada teniendo música en mis oídos. IG: @gersonsupertramp

My name is Gerson. I have lived outside of Chile for missionary reasons and have traveled for reasons of adventure. I grew up in a family linked to missions [YWAM], I think that from there comes my passion to help and travel. I returned to Chile to finish my university studies (a commitment with my parents) and when I finish I intend to go on a trip from Patagonia to Alaska in a camper. I always receive people who need a place to stay, be they missionaries and travelers. I am a lover of cultures. I practice a martial art called "Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu". I am always in a constant search for new places to adventure. I love the contact with nature and animals. My dream ? know the northern lights. I consider myself a kind, amusing person, I always want to know new cultures and their realities without prejudice and with humility. I have a phrase: "there are no bad or good cultures, only different cultures exist" ... In my free time I practice Jiujitsu, and I share with friends. I love good music, food, camping. I am very sociable, but loneliness does not displease me having music on my ears

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Porque me encanta conocer gente y sus distintas culturas. Como viajero cree una ley que trato de cumplir para mi estilo de vida: "siempre que conozca una nuevo lugar, país o ciudad intentare no pagar por hospedaje". Entonces extiendo mi propia ley para los demás. Que ellos puedan conocer Chile, conocer mi cultura sin pagar hospedaje.
Mi casa esta abierta para quien lo desee, así intercambiar experiencias, conocimientos. Crear lasos y tal vez en un futuro crear amistades profundas.

Because I love meeting people and their different cultures. As a traveler I believe a law that I try to fulfill for my lifestyle: "whenever I know a new place, country or city I will try not to pay for lodging". Then I extend my own law to others. That they can know Chile, know my culture without paying for lodging.
My house is open for those who want it, thus exchanging experiences, knowledge. Create lasos and maybe in the future create deep friendships.

Si hay un libro que puedo leer una y otra vez diria que son 2. Estos libro me han marcado y me siguen marcando en mi vida. Primero seria la Biblia y segundo El Hombre en Busqueda de Sentido.

Peliculas ?! Conocí "Into the Wild" después que comencé a viajar. Al asistir la película me sentí tan identificado, pero no por el amor al viaje, sino por el verdadero motivo de sus viajes. Encontrar paz interior.

If there is a book that I can read again and again I would say that they are 2. These books have marked me and they continue to mark me in my life. First would be the Bible and second The Man in Search of Meaning.

Films ?! I watch "Into the Wild" after I started traveling. When I attended the film I felt so identified, but not for the love of the trip, but for the real reason for their trips. Find inner peace

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Viajar por LatinoAmerica sin dinero, sin comunicación, pero lo mas increíble fue conocer las ruinas de Machupichu entrando por la selva y no pagando el boleto de entrada. Fue una experiencia inolvidable.

Travel through Latin America without money, without communication, but the most incredible thing was to know the ruins of Machupichu entering the jungle and not paying the entry ticket. It was an unforgettable experience.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Puedo ofrecer compartir todo de mi casa, si tengo riquezas se comparte y si tengo pobreza también se comparte. Puedo ofrecer buena onda, amistad y una persona preocupada que su estadía sea la mejor de todas.

I can offer to share all of my house, if I have wealth it is shared and if I have poverty it is also shared. I can offer good vibes, friendship and a person worried that their stay is the best of all.
