About Me

Hello, my name is Cecília and I left my home some months ago to travel the world with almost no money.

I've been a vegetarian for almost 4 years, love animals and nature, books, movies, art & my hometown (I believe Leiria is the most beautiful city of Portugal). But above all of this, i love that magnificent holy creature known as Cat.
I really enjoy to get lost in new places with only a map as guide.
I'm an adventurous independent woman, very easy going and open minded person who loves to have inspiring conversations and new challenges. I give the best of me in everything I do...
As a guest I'm respectful and tidy.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because people had been the best part of this journey, and CS gave me the opportunity to meet so many new friends, amazing, inspiring people that I'll never forget.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love jazz, blues, rock. Frank Sinatra and Jeff Buckley are my favourites.

I enjoy european cinema, the golden oldies and the New Wave movies (yeah,Jean Luc Godard, I'm looking at you) .

I have a passion for classic books, from Fitzgerald to Flaubert. But I've enough space in my heart for Kerouac's adventures too...

And i like series too. For now my addictions are House of Cards, Game of Thrones, Tyrant...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I left my job and my hometown to travel the world with almost no money.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you portuguese language and cook some simple delish vegan & vegetarian meals, teach you how to play the ukulele (but don't have high expectations, because I'm a newbie with this :p), give you some tips about minimalist and frugal living... I would love to hear your stories and learn more about your hometown, especially the secrets and hidden treasures :)

What I Can Share with Hosts

Travel stories, delicious food, hapiness, good talks, positive energy!

Countries I’ve Visited

Brazil, England, France, Italy, Monaco, Scotland, Spain, United Kingdom, Vatican City State, Wales
