About Me

I'm a Finnish girl who loves travelling over anything else. I'm studying Hotel Management and is currently living in Helsinki. Last year I did my exchange in the beautiful city of Valparaiso and have also lived in Spain earlier for one year, in the small city of Cuenca and have to say it was one of the best experiences of my life so far (that's also where I learnt Spanish, without ever having studied it!)

I love meeting new people around the world and from different cultures, learning new languages and everything possible about these cultures and getting new and fresh points of view of life. Can't wait for my next destination!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

There are things you can learn by studying and then there are things you can only learn by living; I think couchsurfing is a perfect way of sharing together, getting to know people, having fun, learning and taking chance of the multicultural environment around us.

You can never learn or feel a culture if you don't know its people. I don't want to get to know only the touristic side of my travels, I want to get to know the real culture.
