Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am rarely in a position to take guests, but I do enjoy visits from other countries. I have several friends around the world from my travels, and I met such great people! Since I am in no position to travel for some time now, I would be happy to help other travellers.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am vegetarian, but no one else I know is, so I'm ok with you cooking whatever you want in the house. I am curious to learn about "un"cooking and the various languages. My house is very tranquil, and I work a lot so would be unable to show anyone the bar scene, but could show off some nice areas to go for a walk or snowshoe, skating, sledding, etc. I am far enough away from the city (even though I am still in it) that if peace and nature is more your taste, I can provide a bit more of that.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Translator from English to French (if required), I may (or may not, depending on my situation) be able to drive some around, pick up, drop off at airport/bus terminal/train station. I do have a single bed, and a possiblility of a double.
