About Me

My name's Hunter, but people tend to call be Hunna. I'm a simple guy with simple needs. I enjoy good cup of coffee, a nice chat, an evening of cruising the city, and a hoppy pint.

*This is an insert for my current adventure! Traveling across Europe by train. Meeting new people and making new memories. If you could take me in for a night or even two, that would mean the world to me. I'm low maintenance and even if it's a spot on the floor to sleep, that'd be awesome!*

I've been living in Vancouver for almost two years now. I'm on the East Side of the city, right off Commercial Drive. I absolutely love this city.

I'm in basement suite on the corner of a lovely residential neighborhood. It's close to just about everything! The bus system here is awesome, so getting places is a breeze. If you want guidance on where to go, we can make a kick-ass-map for you.

What I found most attractive about this city was how easy it was to bike places (I don't have a car). I love to bike, rain or shine. The coffee shops, the breweries, the book stores, the beach (when it's sunny), the parks, the food, and most importantly, the weather. It's not always sunny, but when it is, it's a little taste of heaven. For some it sounds odd, but I enjoy the rain. If it's your first time in the North West, you'll love the air! It's so fresh!!

I'll provide you with an umbrella if it's raining. Anything that's mine is yours. Just ask and I'll see what I can do for you. If you'd like a companion around the city, I'm all yours when I'm off work. I've been putting in extra hours lately to save up for an adventure of my own! But once I've clocked out for the day, I'm always down to chill. If you're looking for just a place to crash for the night, that's cool with me. My fold out sofa is all yours :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurf is a brilliant concept! Meeting people from around the world who are on the same level as you? Priceless

Meet up, chill out, see new things, hear new things, have a good sleep. How can you go wrong with that?

Interests

Biking the city, good coffee, quality beer, kick ass conversations, down time, getting my nose in a good book, spacing out, stretching, naps, taking photos, laughing out loud, futbol (soccer), hackey sack (I recently messed up my knee so I'll be taking it easy on the hackey).
