My name is Marina and I am from Madrid (Spain). I have studied a degree in Speech-language pathology therapy and I am a monitor of leisures activities. Nowadays I'm working as Speech Therapist in Madrid, doing the Coordinator of leisure activities and studing English.

I considerete myself as very flexible person and to be able to adapt myself to many situations. I really love to improvise my leisure activities and to learn new things from the life and this world.
I'm a positive and empatic person and always looking for the humor in this life.

However, from September 2016 until July 2017 I was living in Birzai (Lithuania) because I was doing an European Voluntary Service in a Kindergarten. Also I did three international workcamps in Morocco, France and Vietnam, one Trainings Course in Malaga (Spain), one International Youth Exchange in Lorca (Spain) and one International Seminar about refugees in Madrid. Also I will participate in one more International Youth Exchange in Ourense (Spain) in Easter.

Finally, I'm always looking for something new to learn or do in my life, and my last discovered were the Training Courses which are always differents one to the other one with new people from everywhere and about new topic.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am in Couchsurfing because I really love to travel around the world and to meet new and local people. Also during this year I have learnt that all the people is different and always you can learn new things and new points of view from each person that you meet in the life's way.

Interests

First of all, I love being surrounded by nature and animals. I love photography, theater, cinema and music concerts and hang out with my friends and family.

Furthermore, I would like to try more new things in my life, like to play theater, to learn about music and to play an instrument, to learn about art and creativity, to live again away from my coutry, to learn more languages (as Italian and French), to study a new bachelor's degree and be able to be Kindergarten Teacher (my dream), I have on mind to be mentor from the new volunteers coming to Tres Cantos and be able to help them in their learning process...I would like to take advantage of my life and to enjoy it and to learn as much as possible.

However, I would like to do some of this projects along of my life: European Solidarity Corps, Work away, Work and Travel, Helpexx, Woofer, etc.

In addition, I'm very interested on travels, volunteering, educaction, all kind of arts, new challenges, new knowledges, etc.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

JUST THE LIFE IS AMAZING

It was really amazing to see the sunrise and the milky way in the sahara desert, to ride a camel, to learn about muslim culture, to ride a dunky, to see a budha temples, to eat asian and moroccan food, to ride a kayac in Halong Bai, to live in Lithuania for a year, to learn new languages, to travel around the world, to do volunteering, to run away from our confort zone, to meet new people, to love, TO LIVE...
