i have so many dreams and i'm making a habit of turning them into actions.. which is, surprisingly, working out pretty good so far.

when i was younger i "wanted to change the world". but i grew a little older and i don't want that anymore 'cause i figured out that i'll never be able to do that, like so many people told me..

oh no, i just want to change "my world" :) which is pretty easy. just by making someone smile, picking up a piece of plastic, eating a vegan diet, giving a funny drawing to a stranger or cuddling a dog on the street.

to make connections with other beings ;) i am incredibly curious and love talking/interacting with likeminded people and discovering 'their' country and their places!

i'm the proud owner of the smallest drawing coöperation of belgium: 'anke's krabbels' (anke's scribbles in english), where i draw personalized birthdaycards on demand.

it started out as a 'joke' because i was frustrated with the cards in the shops, "those cards suck, i should better make them myself" but it kind of exploded. two years (and hundreds of drawing and even a book for children and the cover for a CD!) later anke's krabbels is booming business and with the money i earn, i'm saving up for a airplane ticket to NZ (yessss, a girl may dream)
