Hey there, my name is Carlotta 🐚

I was born in the countryside of Northern Italy, but moved soon enough relocating myself in different places - nomadic spirit check.

I am a passionate introvert, just more comfortable with building actual human connections than with small talks :)

I do love irony.

I work with performing arts and learning how to integrate sound in my practice, especially with a diy approach - hi to any fellow experimenter! Among my loves: poetry, philosophy, electronic music, cinema, dance/clubbing and generally artistic and somatic matters - the weirder the better -, and any outdoor trip that involves walking amidst nature, animals, camping, home cooked food and bonfires.

In the last three years, I have been living in different countries, moving for projects, so I now have a very mobile home (within). I don’t have a proper place where to host people atm (as of February 2025, hopefully this will change soon), but I have a big, amazing step-family in Turin, Italy. So yeah, write to me and we can see where to find some solidarity over there.

I am planning on relocating myself to Bruxelles, I have been there this November and felt like it could be the right place to find home, for some time (or more than some).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

The experience of sharing space and time with like-minded people who live in the area completely shifts the opportunity to explore, not just skimming the surface. I am on Couchsurfing because I hosted people with my former housemates and I have been hosted myself, and I treasure these experiences.
