I´m a girl from northern Germany currently doing an European voluntary service in Latvia. I am working at the University in Daugavpils teaching German. I really enjoy traveling around the Baltics to see the beautiful nature.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I started couchsurfing because of my friends in Latvia and liked it right from the start. It´s a great chance to meet people and to have a lot of fun. I really like to have conversations and to learn what other people think about several topics and themes - what could be more perfect than couchsurfing?! :)

Interests

As everyone on Couchsurfing I love to travel, to see new places and meet new people. I am interesred in culture and especially cultural differences.
(As already mentioned) I am always down for a conversation or even better a good discussion. Moreover I love to have a walk and enjoy the nature.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

A while ago my friends and I decided to participate in a sports group competition. The challenge was to run as many kilometers as possible in 24 hours. As it was kind of a spontanious decision non of us has really been trained for that and when the competition was over everyone had the aching their lifes, but the experience was amazing and these 24 hours have been one of the funniest in my life.
