About Me

I'm a Colombian guy currently studying in Germany. I like to travel around whenever I get the chance and getting to know new people. Even though I'm not very talkative at first, when I'm feeling a little more confident I like having a good conversation.

My cooking skills are not particularly impressive, but I do enjoy cooking every now and then, and it's one of those things that's more enjoyable with people!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

First used couchsurfing to surf my way through Finland, amazing trip! Now I'm looking forward to my next trip and in the meanwhile, why not, getting to know new people.

Interests

I like mostly geeky stuff: games, computers, anime, martial arts, movies, science fiction, board games... yeah, you get the point.

I'll be studying electrical engineering, so if you know anything about programming, micro controllers, circuits and that kind of stuff, I'm interested! All those are great conversations waiting to be held.

Music, Movies, and Books

I mostly listen to rock and metal, anything that sounds cool or epic floats my boat. On the other hand, I used to play the piano and enjoy a couple of classic pieces, as well as some jazz and blues every now and then.

Among my favorite movies are some sci-fi, musicals, and fantasy movies, without letting aside the classic blockbusters. Although I don't watch a lot of movies, I enjoy it quite a lot.

As for books, I guess I could say my taste is similar to that of the movies. I also like reading some light philosophy (some heavier stuff is on my list, but I haven't yet had the chance to read them) like The Solitaire Mystery.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I think one of my best memories was the one time I rode a paraglider. I wasn't "driving" that time but I'd definitely like to learn how to drive it at one point. The feeling of flying and seeing everything from up above was incredible. Really, try it.
