Hello! Thank you for dropping by & seeing what I'm about :) I'm your average 28 year old college graduate, I sell cars at Lexus & I tend bar on the weekends. I grew up in a small town just outside of Peoria & have lived in the Peoria area now for about 8 years. When I'm not at work, I am filling my time with friends. Whether we are boating on the river, hula hooping in the park or enjoying a beer on a patio somewhere, I love to keep my time occupied. I live alone in a great 2 bedroom apartment, right downtown in Peoria, just off of the riverfront. Great views, things to do & friends to meet.

I am on Couchsurfing because I had a friend that hosted a couch surfer as of recently & it blew my mind! That there was this whole world out there where this was really a thing, I had to get on board! First of all, any of my close friends often refer to me as "Mama Becky". With living right downtown, a lot of times, I will wake up with friends on one or all of my 4 couches, with a glass of water close by for them, phones on the charger, anything they need to make them feel comfortable. I love hosting & aside from my inability to deal with blood (hence why I'm not a nurse), I am a nurturer thru & thru. My mom was always an amazing caretaker & this whole concept just speeds right down my alley.

First off, I -love- to hula hoop. I tap dance a little in my spare time, & love listening to records while I do just that. Boating & fishing often fill days of my summer, then of course you have nights full of swimming, bonfires, beers & friends.

Well, the Beatles. Need I just stop there? I'm kidding haha I am an old soul, so anything you can pretty find on vinyl. The Rolling Stones, The Eagles, Fleetwood Mac, Frank Sinatra, Simon & Garfunkel, Etta James, Peggy Lee, Ray Charles, then clear up to about the 2000's with classics like Nelly, TLC, Eminem, & Destiny's Child.

When it comes to Movies, Willy Wonka, (the old one, there is no other one), I love Pulp Fiction, The Shawshank Redemption, Shooter, The Adjustment Bureau, Wolf of Wall Street, The Prestige, Prisoners, Focus, Interstellar, Gravity, & any movie that cracks me up or makes me figure out who the bad guy is.

As for books, My favorite Author is Ellyn Hpkins. Her style is like none other I have ever come across. Other than that, I've read all the Harry Potters, All the 50 Shades of Gray, All the Gillian Flynn books (i.e. Gone Girl), Everything Ellyn Hopkins had written, I love John Green (i.e. The Fault in our Stars, Paper Towns), The Celestine Prophecy, The Curious Dog in the Nighttime, The Lovely Bones, pretty much all the popular "Must Reads", & I love me a good biography to understand artists I love.

One of my most favorite memories is looking up into the rainbow of color that was made up of confetti raining down on me while I stood under the glow of the city lights in Times Square while the New Year rolled in! No words to describe the intensity of that moment.

What can I share with host? hmm, I suppose an opportunity to step into my amazing world of friendships with all the great people around me. These are the kind of friends that throw you surprise prom parties, decorate your apartment while you are at work for your birthday & pick up your dog from a city 3 hours away to surprise you early from the dog sitter. Aside from that, great company, a great place to make you feel at home & maybe the chance to teach you a simple skill in the kitchen.
