About Me
Some of my biggest passions are literature, cinema, art, tattoos, wine and life (in no particular order...o is it?)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I don't have any hosting experience since I have been slightly homeless for almost two years. I'm travelling around Europe, picking up some jobs on the way; travels' purpose for me being to meet a lot of new interesting/quirky people, hear some weird stories, have a splendorous time and gain a lot of books on the way. Couchsurfing is one of the best ways to achieve the first. And the second. Or all of them - if you feel like getting rid of any awesome books you have laying around, I shall not waive.
Interests
Reading, writing, drinking, raving, getting lost in music, travelling (while not getting lost geographically, preferably), arguing (or, more pleasantly, debating), singing (or, more truthfully, howling) and drawing.
Music, Movies, and Books
Literature: J. L. Borges "Ficciones", A. Moore "Watchmen", M. Yourcenar "Memoirs of Hadrian", W. Faulkner "The Sound and The Fury", J. Williams "Stoner", Y. Zamyatin "We", H. Miller's Tropics and anything by Ch. Bukowski or H. S. Thompson.
Cinema: Only Lovers Left Alive, The Boat That Rocked, The Prestige, V for Vendetta, A Woman Under The Influence, Persona, Being John Malkovich, My Own Private Idaho, The Man With a Movie Camera, Boys Don't Cry, Paris Is Burning, Indiana Jones and anything of film noir. Or anything released before 1970s.
TV series: True Detective, Game of Thrones, Sherlock, Black Books, Archer, South Park, Flight of the Conchords, Twin Peaks, Band of Brothers, OITNB, Rick and Morty, Steven Universe, Gravity Falls.
Music: Blues (especially Delta), rock (classic, hard), jazz (much rather experimental than lounge), psytrance, 80's (and not even ashamed of it) and much more.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I guess it's pretty awesome that I own a comic book titled "The Surreal Adventures of Edgar Allan Poo" which is a story of Poe's poo journey to find his (its'?) father. If it's not amazing, I don't know what is.
I also dropped a steady job, left the Shire for the first time and went on an adventure... hence couchsurfing.
P.S. I have a tendency to recite poems when I get drunk, which I think is pretty kewl...contradictory to my friends' opinion.
