I am half swiss and half dutch, and obviously love to travel. I decided to become a social worker when I was pretty young... So I am all about people (connecting, sharing, communicating, and so on). I am very spontanious, open minded and always love to meet new people.

Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

Once upon a time a girl woke up on a sunny day and decided to go to a biiiig city to which she has never been to... All by herself.
After a long journey she finally arrived in this beautiful city but since she had no place to sleep, no people who she might know, she decided to log on to a webpage called "couchsurfing"... After a bit she found a place and she was able to expericene a whole new world... Being able to go out on the big wide world but never being alone.
And she travelled happily ever after.
I also want to know something about the culture, history and the things tourists would never know or find out. That's why I am couchsurfing. It gives me the opporturnity to get to know a place in the view from a local!

I've travelled trough west of the US in a sleeping van during the winter time. We've had bad luck with the weather (loooots of rain) but at least we were able to shower in it (;
