Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Traveling is just one of the things I've got addicted to because of the constant self-discovery. When you get out of your comfort zone, it's how you learn the real value of friendship, freedom, and happiness. Sometimes when you're on the road, you meet some really cool people from all over the globe. Some you forget and some you become lifelong friends with and that's this kind of unique experience that you wouldn't get when staying in a hotel.

Interests

Hobbies:
- Cosmetics & fashion: I looove shopping and I know what heaven feels like now I've been to NYC!!
- Photography: I love taking photos of beautiful landscapes with my iPhone and I plan on investing in a proper camera anytime soon
- Cooking: I enjoy cooking and making new healthy recipes
- Traveling: "it is a big and beautiful world. Most of us live and die in the same corner where we were born and never get to see any of it. I don’t want to be most of us."

Sport:
- Fitness: I go to the gym every morning 5 days a week - I usually run 5k on a treadmill or outside depending on the weather and then I split my workout through the week in order to train each muscle group
- Snowboard/wakeboard: I usually go snowboarding every winter and go wake-boarding during summer
- Hiking: for me, traveling goes with hiking - I've done some at the Yosemite National Park, Mammoth Lakes, Palm Springs, Tahoe Lake, etc. Recently did the 10-day Mare è Monti hike in Corsica by myself.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: all kind, except maybe heavy metal

Movies: I loooooove watching all kinds of movies and TV shows, except horror movies or at least not alone 'cause I'm freaking out haha. Waiting for the next season of Game of Thrones and currently watching House of Cards.

Books: "Wilde" by Cheryl Strayed, "Eat, pray, love" By Elizabeth Gilbert, "And then there were none" and "Murder on the Orient Express" by Agatha Christie

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've done the 4L Trophy with a friend in 2014 while I didn't know anything about cars and mechanics!!

Concept: The Raid 4L Trophy is a 10-day journey on the roads of France, Spain, and the pistes of Morocco abroad the mythical Renault 4L. It's a humanitarian and sporting adventure based on orientation and helping each other

Aim: Give classroom materials and food to the poorest children in Morocco

Method: Collect money, school stationery, and food from sponsors and events
