About Me

Im an outdoorsman disguised as a tech nerd. The day after my high school prom, I got on a plane and went to work at a high adventure camp run by the boy scouts in the Sangre de Cristo Mountain Range. I fell in love with the mountains, and since then have been looking for the next highest one to climb. I also love food. If it wont kill me, I'll at least try it.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Primarily, so I don't have to put up with hotels and their crappy services. Also, I do enjoy meeting new, like minded people from everywhere.

Interests

Mountaineering, hiking, driving, video games, traveling, computers, camping, helping people out, meeting like minded individuals, making connections where there rationally wouldn't be any.

Also, I love tea, and coffee, and cooking.

Music, Movies, and Books

The new Iron Maiden album is pretty rad.
Also, a not well known band called IAMDYNAMITE.
The Divine Comedy was the last book I read, but Im currentlly trying to re read it cause its been too long and I remember how cool Hell was (in a metaphorical way, I wouldnt want to live there).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I climbed the hardest mountain I've ever seen with a ~60lb. Backpack. It had 4 false peaks (which means after going up about 1 ft vertically every 5-12 ft horizontally, id have to go back down for another several hundred yards before Id start going back up a peak, only to repeat) and after I finally reached the top, I was treated with the steepest trail Id ever hiked in my life. Knees gave out about 85% of the way down... But I was almost there so I sucked it up and finished. Took me 8 hours.
