Overview
About Me
After graduating from college, I wasn't really sure what I wanted to do, so I started splitting my time working at a nonprofit and a restaurant. Although I loved living in Santa Barbara, it didn't seem like there was much there for me beyond what I already had. I also always wanted to be one of those spontaneous people that quit their job on a shitty Monday and hit the road. So here I am. Currently trekking from Florida back west.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
The obvious answer would be that I want to travel. But I want to travel in a way that I have never traveled before. Air bnb is about as spontaneous as I've gotten. I'm looking for a nice change of pace.
Interests
I love to read, learn about history, drink beers, and build stuff.

Teach, Learn, Share
I graduated from UC Santa Barbara in 2014 with a degree in Global and International Studies. I have also tutored underprivileged children in Santa Barbara County. I also worked for a small nonprofit in Santa Barbara. I love to share any knowledge I have attained through these experiences, as well as absorb any knowledge you have to offer.
What I Can Share with Hosts
A desire to connect with people through couchsurfing that I may never had the chance to meet without taking this trip. I'd love to have a great conversation over dinner, lunch, coffee, beers, or just a cup of tea!
