About Me

Can not host anyone until I find myself a permanent place, sorry!
Don't know anymore what can I call home, been up and about for quite a few years out of my country. Love seeing, love meeting and love feeling. And I feel good everywhere if I have my little place to crash! Back in the days we would hit the road hitch hiking now I am more conventional traveler, but hey, don't mind an adventure coming my way. Easy going, laid back and all welcoming, living my characters to entertain myself.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have started with hospitalityclub.org and am still on it, long time ago. Then Couchsurfing came when me and my mate were hitch-hiking through the US and it worked brilliantly, having so many members on it. Being a student, having so little that you would think it is impossible to travel, but really wanting to see what's across the boarders finding out about a system that works like that was THE WAY! And staying with locals proved to be an extraordinary experience, amazing way of seeing the places through the eyes of people who live there that no travel guides will provide, no money will buy. And most importantly,I like the feeling of trust you get from your hosts and you send those vibes back, we are given an opportunity to reconnect and make beautiful friendships.

Interests

For the moment my hobby is standing on my head and trying to kick myself up into a hand stand. Yes, I love Yoga and am trying to be a teacher. Unconventional one as I like my beer after a session.
I am a book worm as well since I was a kid, but because I was so busy recently couldn't read much, but was collecting them instead. Planning to build a library in my countryside in Lithuania. Seriously.
Good Film and music that inspire, cooling my wine bottle in a bicycle basket, languages, philosophy, gardening, living harmoniously with the nature when possible, veggies and all that you can make out of them, yum.

Music, Movies, and Books

Films: The Dreamers, Ladri di biciclette, Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels, Reprise, 24 hour Party People, Trainspotting, Apocalypse Now, Cinema Paradiso, Twin Peaks series and full movie, there's just too much.

Music: it is very varied, I like it all if it's well made from pizzica to dubstep, from LCD Soundsystem to AC/DC.

Books: Carlos Castaneda "The Teachings of Don Juan" and others, George Orwell "1984", Aldous Huxley "Brave New World", "Ape and the Essence", Mark Twain "The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn" and Tom Sawyer, books by Kur Vonnegut, Hemingway, Fyodor Dostoyevsky "Crime and Punishment", Bulgakov "The Master and Margarita", etc.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I had 40 min until I was supposed to be at work. I was on the top of the 1000m mountain and 4 miles away from the place. So there was only one thing to do - run straight down! Galloped down, into the motorway, caught a ride, got home, showered and still was early, haha.

Teach, Learn, Share

Can teach some yoga, languages, love to cook something healthy and not so.
