Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am looking for an alternative to hostels and airbnb. I have found that the most valuable travekl experiences I have had are when I have stayed with locals and shared someone's home, so I am looking for a safe way to connect with people in the places I am travelling.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Because I am traveling full-time, I cannot host anyone (yet.) But I am very excited to invest in a really nice couch when I have a place of my own so that I can pay forward some of the amazing kindness I have received from others.
I am a very respectful house guest and love to share stories of the day that has passed or other places I have been. I also open up my daily adventures up to anyone who wants to join me. I play guitar, but do not travel with one, so if you have one I will gladly play for you. I know several cool folk songs that I love to teach, if you'd like to learn. I paint, build puppets, and love learning about others and other cultures.
