About Me
Hello there! My name is Bjarke Skoffer Kjeldsen and I am heading out on a long trip. I am from the Scandinavian country, Denmark. I am a young, fresh and very wanderlust guy who constantly seek new adventures. The city I temporarily live in, is called Silkeborg, and is located in the middle of Jutland (the mainland), here I live with my parents, Hanne and Niels. I also have two elderly brothers, Sune and Asbjørn, who both live in Aarhus, where they work and study.
In the summer of 2014, I graduated from my youth education / high school, so now I am busy to enjoy some gab years and do what I like the most, of course travel. Since I graduated, I have already visited many countries, for example. Morocco, Turkey, Hungary, Germany, Holland, France and Spain. My last trip was a euro trip by train, and then a 873km's hike through the whole northern Spain on the marvelous Camino de Santiago - one of the best experiences of my life.
I am the type who loves to have something at hand, or be in a good company, and traveling, gives me that opportunities every day. As a famous Danish author once wrote; '' To travel is to live '' and I could not agree more. To meet the world where it is, is some of the best I know.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm joining Couchsurfing after hearing great stuff and stories from family and friends, about how there travels became so much better because of this great way to socialize with locals and other travelers. I'm traveling a lot myself and I'm always trying to find new and easier way to socialize with others.

Music, Movies, and Books
I can't say I have a favorite kind of music i fancy, because I have a favorite in all genres. I'm reading a book right now called Ibn Battuta, which is a about the Muslim traveler Ibn, who lived around year 1300. The life of Ibn makes the stories about Marco Polo sounds like water.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The most amazing thing I have ever done was walking the El Camino de Santiago in Spain. A pilgrimage through all over Europe ending up in Santiago de Compostella. I walked 873 kilometers in the spring of 2015.
