Hi there! I'm Danuta, 25 years old and currently finishing my premaster of Aerospace Engineering. From February 2016 onwards, I want to take part in the 'Air Transport and Aerospace Operations'-master programme at Delft University of Technology.
I like to try out all kinds of sports with my four sports-oriented housemates (like doing Spartan Workouts together in the rain: we had a good laugh!), but mostly, I prefer going for a run.
I do like checking out musea or the (art) cinema and on holidays, I gladly spend some days being all cultural, but I mostly enjoy tasting new foods (octopus will remain my favorourite, though) and meeting new people :).

I think it is a wonderful opportunity to meet new people! After some friends told me how great it worked out for them, I am thrilled with anticipation to go out there and meet you!

Interessen

When I was a child, I played the violin and piano for years and I used to do gliding in my early student years; at the moment, I am mainly going out for runs, trying out Krav Maga and wanting to do some bouldering/climbing. I also like to bake things with my housemates (I am living with four other female students), and sometimes the bakings even turn out nice ;).

Musik, Filme und Bücher

My favourite writers are Gerard Reve (he is simply the best!) and Haruki Murakami, but I can enjoy every written word: I simply wish I had time to read everything. I appreciate opera, folk music, hardstyle (especially during a run), top40; at this very moment I am enjoying the Beatles and Johnny Nash.
Same as with music styles: there is a time for every type of movie.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

I have participated in the world's longest rowing marathon with seven other girls. It took lots of training and an awful lot of blisters, but it was an amazing sports event and I am glad and proud to have taken part in it!
