About Me

We are the budgeteers we are a three young travellers who make a travel series on YouTube about our travels. The aim of our show is to show the world how much fun, adventure, and love there is in the world and that you don't have to spend a fortune to have the time of your life.

In our first series we traveled around S.E Asia and it was a blast!!

One of the main aspects of the show is couch surfing. Of course couch surfing is a great way to save money on the road, but after couch surfing during series 1 in Malaysia, Thailand, and Cambodia we learnt that couch surfing can be a fantastic experience, learning about a place from a local cannot be beaten. Local people know more, can show you where to go to find the best food and experiences etc....

We are three travellers, Paddy (30) from the UK, Thijs (26) from Belgium and Lina (26) from Colombia.

We like to document our travels so filming you, your home and the surrounding areas would be something we would really like if that is cool with you. Don't worry!! if you don;t want to be on camera then we can work around that but everyone who appeared on our last series received so much positive remarks and we think its a big part of our show to promote sharing, caring, and good vibes throughout the traveler community.

If you want to watch an episode of the show that we think best shows what kind of show we are about, and how we portray hosts etc then please click on this link or search 'the budgeteers' on YouTube. In this episode we arrive in Kuala Lumpur and stay with AJ who was a dream host!!!

LOTS OF LOVE

The Budgeteers!!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Firstly we want to meet people like you, the kind of people who share their homes with others are the type of people we want to promote through our web-series. Kind, interesting, and fun people like yourselves who can inspire us and our viewers about the kindness and loving nature that is within us all.
If you want to host us but don’t want to appear in the documentary for whatever reason, that is totally understandable and we will respect that fact whole heartedly. However if you do let us stay and you want to share your life story, share some local knowledge, travel advice or even a funny joke we can make you famous through our series!!

Finally we want to have an ADVENTURE!!! Staying with strangers in their home sounds like an amazing experience that we want to share with you and the people who will watch our show.
