Hi, my name is Jesse Stedman, and I just moved to Oxford from California, USA. I am a student in the US, and am studying Theology for a semester (Michaelmas) at Jesus College. I will be doing some traveling around Europe during my time here.

I look forward to possibly meeting you and accepting your hospitality if offered. Although I am recently new to Couchsurfing, I am an avid cyclist and I have used warmshowers.com (the equivalent of Couchsurfing for cyclists - I definitely would encourage you to check it out if you have not!) frequently. I recently rode my bike across America and stayed with many different people on Warm Showers. I am grateful for the hospitality of others offered!

Random other things: I am glad to provide some beer! I am very minimalistic and do not require much - only a roof really. I am not from the part of California that most people would hope; I grew up in the mountains in Northern California, not the beaches in the Southern part.

Currently, I am on Couchsurfing to find places to stay throughout my travels. Although I wish I could offer a couch to others, as a college student, I am unable to right now. I have moved my life from Northern California to Southern California, across America, and now to Oxford all in the past year. I say "right now" though, because I hope to one day return hospitality to others for the hospitality I have been offered.
