I am passionate about traveling, dancing, psychology, architecture.

I work for a Slovak non-profit and organize volunteering events across the country. In 2023, I decided to take a year off to travel. 🎒🚉🧭🌎

I spent 5 months volunteering in Mexico and then travelling trough Colombia, Peru and Brasil. 💖

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

People are the best thing about any city or travel experience. I love seeing new places through perspective of local people, having deep conversations about life or just a drink and fun!

Interests

I am very versatile, I love learning new skills and languages and talking to people, although I am more of an introvert, so I rarely start conversation first. :)

I love board games, futbolito, climbing and yoga.

My dream is to empower marginalized communities and to have a big garden with a lot of fruit trees, when I am old.

Music, Movies, and Books

I learned Spanish thanks to Bad Bunny, Danni Flow and Peso Pluma 🙈 I like indie rock like Tame Impala or Arctic Monkeys, rap/pop like M.I.A., Doja Cat, Queen B … Spotify is my favorite app. 😀

I like books that are witty and a bit provocative. My favorite authors are Kurt Vonnegut, Charles Bukowski, Chimamanda Adichie, Olga Tokarczuk, Emily Bronte, J.D. Salinger, M. M. Šimečka( Slovak philosopher and journalist). Also, Harry Potter fan for life!

If you like history, geography or geopolitics, I am an expert in explaining the difference between Slovakia (my home country) and other "false friends" like Slovenia, Estonia, Yugoslavia and Czechoslovakia. :D I also studied international relations so history & politics is my passion.
