Overview
About Me
I'm a young woman and love to travel. I've worked as a freelance first assistant director for cinema and TV industries. Now I'm a senior producer for a global PR agency in São Paulo.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I have been "grounded" in Brazil for the past 3 years and started this account in hopes that exchanging with travelers may sooth my itching wanderlust. I used to live alone in Rio and visitors came and go all the time, although only a few were from this site.
I am planning to travel to Eupore for a month in November/19. Mainly continental but this time I wish to go off my own beaten path and visit the Netherlands and Germany, perhaps even Poland. I do have friends to stay with in Paris, London, Lisbon and Porto but not much else.
Interests
Film, theatre, visual arts, music and literature. Cinema and social sciences bachelor.
Travel to me is about deconstructing preconceived ideas we get from other cultures in literature and film, it's coloring bland distant portraits of cities and landscapes. Also about becoming more tolerant, more involved with what it means to be part of the human kind.
I used to ride a 40 year old bike everywhere everyday, now that I live in a ridiculously hilly city I just take a cab.
I'll go for burgers every friday and I drink more beer than wine. Don't smoke much weed, but I get it.
I'll be ever in search of some kind of spirituallity but I am a atheist.

Music, Movies, and Books
I like sweet harmonic things and Radiohead. I'm kind of stuck with 90s alternative rock. I've read too much. I watch everything but I lost the GoT train.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Seeing the city of Bangkok at night from my hotel window. It was really unique watching the city bursting with people, food stalls and motorcycles from above.
Teach, Learn, Share
I am open to share and learn with anyone, any age, any religion and culture. I like to hear about local political issues, discuss major philosophical topics. I am not the most effusive type, that's something that bothers some people for some reason, me being Brazilian and all. I prefer quiet nights around a table with fewer people and quality alcohol.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can't cook but some omelette, but I can make caipirinhas.
I don't know how to dance but I can guide you around whats best in Brazilian music.
I bring news from the latin american front, after all we are at the verge of another coup d'etat. Spoiler alert: its the fascists once again.
I can tackle household tasks really well, if you need any help regarding tidyng up or organizing anything.
