Hello we are Emily and Felix,

We are travelling to The Canary Islands for some delicious winter sun, intrigued by whisperings of eternal spring. We look forward to spending time outdoors, surfing and hiking, working on art projects and making new friends.

We are a free spirited, calm and gentle pair with a real zest for life. We are both multidisciplinary artist, Felix is a film maker, musician, poet, performance artist and painter. He is currently working on a children's book and a documentary about otters. I am a painter, weaver and soon to be dressmaker. I have experimented with many different mediums in the past and have an abundance of curiosity for new possibilities, we almost cant keep up with ourselves. We'd love to share our creativity, through a gifted artwork, a painting, mural, poem or workshops and skill sharing. We'd also love to hang out, we very much enjoy making and sharing food, giggles, games and music. We'd be so happy to find someone to show us local surfing and hiking routes and join us for the adventure.

We have both spent much time travelling over the last few years. Felix lived in Berlin for a while and took part in many art residencies around the world. I have solo travelled to many cities, working on my art practice, getting involved in projects and experiences the wonders of places and people across the globe. We have met so many people who are very dear to us, have made huge impacts on our lives and who we are now. We really look forward to meeting more incredible people and connections for life in the beautiful Canary Islands.

We are arriving in Tenerife on new years eve, which we will be spending with my friend who lives in the south. We are then planning to travel up to the north, where we would like to surf, hike and enjoy the Rural De Anaga park. We think we will say 2 weeks - 1 month in the north, and then travel to La Palma to explore the wildlife there, perhaps for another month. We are flexible, open to ideas and to follow the wind. We would be so thrilled for an opportunity to stay somewhere anytime and place throughout our trip, a spare room, couch or even garden space (we may bring a tent) would be incredibly appreciated. We are calm and tidy and it is very important to us that we keep your space just the way you like it. We have the utmost respect for you and your home and would be honoured to be a part of your life for a short while.

At the end of our trip we will be returning to Bristol, UK, where we are looking for an art studio where we can settle and become grounded. We plan to find a beautiful spot of local ecology where we can become artists in residence and get to know all the inhabitants and see them appear in our artwork. We plan to live in my van which has been an ongoing project for the last year and a half (which i am very much looking forward to taking a short break from!) Whilst we are in the canary islands we look forward to a sunny, fun filled adventure away form the grind and time to spend planning our future.
