Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Meeting interesting people and visiting beautiful places. As simple as that.

Interests

- Everything related to startups, innovation, entrepreneurship, Internet, social media.

- Creative process in all shapes. Whether it is drawing a picture, designing a dress, writing a book, taking a photo, shooting a movie, creating a web application, it doesn't really matter.

- Quotes. I just love the beauty of quotes. Especially their minimalism. It does not need to be from famous writers. Or can be just motivational quotes.

- Walking. Paris is a fantastic place to walk. As lights are different every day, you never get bored.

- Speaking a foreign language. Fastest way to travel.

- French literature (18th/19th century),

Recently discovered Halgrimur Helgason from Iceland and loving it so far.

- Old american movies from the 50' and the 60' (to only name a few: Audrey Hepburn (Breakfast at Tiffany's, Sabrina), Rita Hayworth (The Lady from Shangaï), Gary Cooper (Love in the afternoon), Spencer Tracy (State of The Union)), Cary Grant, Humphrey Bogart (Casablanca).

- French movies from the 50'/60'/70'.

- Action movies (Leon, The Godfather, Goodfellas, The Bourne trilogy, Troie, Gladiator, Pulp Ficton, Stalingrad, Full Metal Jacket, Inglorious Basterds, Save Private Ryan, The Good, the Bad, the Ugly, For a few dollars more, Once upon a Time in America, Once upon a Time in the West, Heat, ...)

- Drama (Black Swan, Brothers, Last Night, 12 angry men, Schindler's list, Seven, Psycho, The Pianist, The Sting, Cool Hand Luke, Casino, Fargo).

iTunes library: more than 9000 tracks. Mostly:

Plus some Hip-hop, Rap, Disco.

Always ready to discover new genres. For example: "Jazz Jousting" on Soundcloud (a mix of samples of Jazz classics and Hip Hop).

Millenium Jazz Music productions, Mumford and sons, Explosions in the Sky are my faves these last months.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

- Managed to be born and grow up.

- Ran 18km for a charity.

- I apparently "saved (nearly litteraly)" the life of a couchsurfer by helping him finding a couch.
