UPDATE: I am 8 months pregnant so I have stopped receiving guests for now

I am a teacher and pregnant. I live with Michael, my partner of four years.

Other things are I rescue and foster dogs. I kind of have this idea for a Bed and Breakfast where you can interact with dogs in need of homes. Maybe too ambitious but a pipe dream worth writing down. The dogs in the house fluctuate but there are usually a decent sized pack of senior dogs. All are friendly and all sleep with my in my bedroom. At least until baby is born.

Music:
Classic Rock, I adore The Doors but regularly listen to the Beatles and the Stones. Janis and Jimi forever!

Movies:
The cinema is pretty disappointing, especially since it was a passion for the first half of my life. I liked Room a lot but tend to go classical with film as well. 70s-80s are my favorite period, but I can go further back. Cary Grant is my favorite actor. (Well, there is always Leo).

Books

I wrote two critical papers on Hunter S. Thompson and I write Creative nonfiction. There are books I love, books I struggle through and books that disappoint. It is never a wasted experience.

I love E.B. White, James Baldwin and... classic rock memoirs. HA!
