About Me

About five years ago I decided to start traveling and it turned out to be the best decision I've ever made! I started in New Zealand and spent about 11 months in that beautiful country which has become a second home to me. Afterwards I spent some time couchsurfing and hitchhiking around Australia, which has been a great experience as well. I went back to Germany to work for a while and saved for the next long journey, which took me around different Asian countries. Starting with Japan, where I spent 3 months, I moved on to Thailand, Vietnam and Korea. On my previous travels I had met fantastic people, discovered the most beautiful places I can think of and experienced life in a way that I had never dreamed of before. Now I've started a new journey that I hope to fill with lots of amazing people and experiences! :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing has been a huge part of my journeys around New Zealand, Australia, Japan and Korea and has made my trips very special. It's a great way to connect with locals and meet amazing people to share experiences with. I am incredibly thankful for all the fantastic hosts that helped me during my journey and I hope to meet many more in the future!

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm always interested in discovering new movies or series. Let me know what's your favourite! :D

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I traveled New Zealand for one year only by hitchhiking and staying with local people. It has been the greatest time of my life!

Travelled around Japan for 3 months and Australia for 1 1/2 months only by couchsurfing and hitchhiking.

I jumped out of a plane, which was incredibly fun! :D

Got the rare chance to join NZ's DOC operation nestegg and get close to New Zealand's wild Kiwi.

Went on a solo motorbike trip around the north of Vietnam and survived the terrible road conditions! :D

Teach, Learn, Share

I would love to learn to speak more languages, at the moment I am very interested in learning japanese. Also I've always wanted to learn sign language.

I have never tried surfing or skiing before (don't judge), so that's still on my to-do-list as well ;-)

I can teach yoga, how to speak german, how to travel on a low budget and show you some nice recipes if you are interested in cooking or baking.
I can share some travel experiences with you if you are interested! :)

What I Can Share with Hosts

I would be happy to cook or bake for you and tell you about my travels!
