Overview
About Me
I passed 2 years studying in Singapore and now I'm in my second year in Ecole Polytechnique in France. I really want to spend time while I'm in France to explore France as well as European countries.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
My friend introduced me to Couchsurfing and I think it's cool to stay with local people and listen to their stories about their place.
Interests
I love good food so, cooking too. I can cook very good Vietnamese dishes. I started learning to make cakes when arrived in France and managed to make French macarons.
I like other classic stuff like films and music and books.
I'm not the kind of very sportive person but I play badminton very often.
Music, Movies, and Books
Forrest Gump, Into the Wild, Life is Beautiful, Birdman... I can keep going on and on, but would say never to super hero movies.
Ghibli studio's work is too good to overlook.
How can I forget: Secret of Kells, Song of the Sea, Persepolis, Triplets of Belleville.
---
About books, I read mostly fiction. Besides my forever favorite Harry Potter, I like Catcher in the rye, Anne of Green Gable, The heart is a lonely hunter, and the recent Pulitzer prize The sympathizer. Short stories and classic novels like Gone with the wind are never boring.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Walk in the middle of the night under the light of full moon into the forest in Norway.
Teach, Learn, Share
My major now is Computer Science, but I studied Math quite well at high school and in fact participated in some international math contests for high school students. I would be happy to learn and share what I know about these subjects.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can cook Vietnamese dishes if ingredients are available and share my stories about the countries I've been to.
Countries I’ve Visited
Argentina, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Sweden
Countries I’ve Lived In
