Well my name is Mark, I'm from the small country of New Zealand and I'm overseas exploring the world. I've made many friends along the way and seem amazing places, I've joined this site hoping to meet the locals of each country I visit and save money seeing my biggest cost is food and accommodation haha.

When I living in New Zealand, I studied automotive for a year and half but didn't want to pursue as a career. Then became a Chef for 8 years, got bored of that and went into labouring for a bit to become a road worker for 4 years and became a Forman, which required me to set up jobs, organize workers and traffic control.
I enjoyed the job every much but decided to travel for as long as I can and move somewhere that I love.

I love both animals and children, have often looked after my friends children in the past and have no problem there.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To meet locals and save money.

Interests

Outdoors activities, snowboarding, rock climbing, wake boarding and etc.
Drinking would have to be a good one too.. can't forget that haha
