Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm travelling around Europe and thought I would try it out. I have a strong affinity for meeting new people and would much rather have interesting conversations than be locked up in a stuffy hotel.

Interests

I love music, especially strange music like progressive rock and free jazz. I play drums in a blues/funk band (in edmonton Alberta). I also enjoy reading philosophy and am currently pursuing a Master's degree.

Music, Movies, and Books

Like I said I love weird music, my favourite band is probably Magma (they invented their own language). Alain Badiou is my favourite philosopher so I read a lot of his books. I don't watch too many movies but I am a huge fan of the show 'seinfeld'

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Amazing is an interesting word. Lots of things are amazing, but it's hard to pick one that stands out from the crowd. I recently hiked a mountain near Lake Ohrid, with some newly met friends, that was pretty Amazing.
