After finishing university in The Netherlands (Groningen), I got tired of Dutch flatness and decided to hike your beautiful country :)

I have lived in 4 different countries, so I find it very easy to meet people from different cultures and backgrounds.
Looking forward to getting to know kiwi culture!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think CS gives everyone the chance to be more than a standard tourist because you get to know real locals and you learn from them as they learn from you. I like to think of CS as a cultural exchange rather than a website where you can find somewhere to sleep

Interests

I have a degree in Astrophysics and Philospophy from the University of Groningen, so I'm always down for a nerdy conversation :)

I love outdoors, especially hiking and skiing.
I also enjoy cooking any kinds of food (I'm vegetarian).

I play guitar and banjo, but I'm not good at playing neither of them.

BOOKS: My favourites books are Cosmos (Carl Sagan), One Hundred Years of Solitude (Gabriel García Márquez) and Animal Farm (George Orwell).

MOVIES: Forrest Gump, Saving Private Ryan, X-Men, The Lord of The Rings, Land and Freedom.
