About Me

I'm a friendly and cheerful girl. I love traveling, meeting new people, music and dancing too,...

I'm an honest person: I believe in those things which are made, or said, or done, sincerely.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Some years ago, I took a gap year and travelled around Europe. That was the best experience ever. I was doing quite a lot of Workaway and Couchsurfing and I had an amazing time. I felt so grateful with all the people who hosted me. So, after a while without quite using it, I would like to do it again but from the other way round, and welcome you in my house.
This year I’m moving to la Réunion to work as a spanish teacher. So we can discover the island together ;)

Music, Movies, and Books

Sílvia Pérez Cruz. She's absolutely amazing, as she involves every piece of herself in her singing. Also, she has lots of different projects. Which takes me to the spanish jazz bassist Javier Colina and my passion for jazz (some of my favorites: Louis Armstrong, Elle Fitzgerald, Jamie Cullum, Chet Baker, Keith Jarrett, Bebo Valdés,...). I like catalan and spanish groups too (Els amics de les arts, Manel, Oques Grasses, Obrint Pas, Ska-p, Gertrudis, Joaquin Sabina, Joan Manel Serrat, Lluis Llach, Skalariak, ....). I'm a fan of Chavela Vargas!! I also like a lot classical music; romantic and post-romantic composers are my fav (Schumann, Schubert, Strauss, Mahler, Dvorak,...)! And as with movies and books, I get excited with those tracks with vindictive sense!!
La vita è bella, A Clockwork Orange, Los lunes al sol, Son of the Bride, El frasco,...
I absolutely love hispanoamericana literature. My favorites: Julio Cortázar and García Márquez. Also, all those books which are related to feminism (novels or essays; hispanoamericana literature is also very rich in that). One title: Júlia, quiero que seas feliz, by Margarita Pisano.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The gap year travelling around Europe.

Teach, Learn, Share

I would just like to spend nice moments with new interesting people, getting to know different realities.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Good company and the will to share.
I'm always ready for a good concert, a movie, a walk (around a village or a town or through nature), a beer, a nice conversation,...
