My name is Cristian and I come from Barcelona.
I've always loved travelling, as I enjoy meeting new cuisine and people, but it wasn't until recently that I dared to start making longer journeys.
So far I've visited France, Polland, Germany, Switzerland and the United Kingdom, aside from many places in Spain like Valencia, Aragón, Madrid, Galicia, Asturias and Burgos.
After having some intense experiences I began to realize that we're here for too short a time to waste it. I decided to set off to and seek enriching experiences, meeting interesting people while treasuring and sharing as many experience as possible without prejudice and with an open mind.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I spent some time living with a friend who was always hosting couchsurfers. That stroke me as a truly interesting way to meet new people from all over the world, so I decided to give it a try. I've decided to try surfing a little bit for now, and when I settle down somewhere I hope I'll be able to host others as well!

There are many things that interest me.

Some of them are cooking (I love learning typical dishes wherever I go), having adventures, history, mythology, nature, animals, travelling, draw, craftmanship, meeting new people and, well, living and experiencing life!

MOVIES
Dracula (Coppola), Equilibrium, Martin of the Dead, Labyrinth and The Crow are some of my favorites, but I enjoy cinema in almost every form.

BOOKS
I always have one or a few books at hand since I discovered the beauty of reading, I've never stopped enjoying it. My favorite genres are probably fantasy, horror and science fiction, but I also love some humor books.
The Lord of the Rings, The Name of the Wind, The Wise Man's Fear, the Dresden Files, The Wheel of Time (about to finish the saga), Game of Thrones, Azazel (from Asimov), Cell (Stephen King), World War Z... and many others.

MUSIC
I like all kinds of music but specially metal and rock, although I do listen to any music that makes me feel something real.
Mägo de Oz, Nightwish, Warcry, Dire Straits, Mike OLfield, Alegria (circ du soleil) and Sopa de Cabra are some of my favorite bands.

I swim and played with a wild dolphin on a bay in la Costa Brava.
I dived in a marine natural park.
I did rafting down a river after the first thaw of the Pirinees
I shared a moon eclipse with friends who were quilometers and countries away.
I'm alive.
