About Me

My name is Anne Cecilie, but all of my friends call me Cille. I come from a small town in Denmark, but currently I am in an exchange program at Boston University. I study cultural Anthropology at University of Copenhagen.
I love travelling and apart from Boston I have lived for one and a half year in London.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love meeting new people and getting a more personal sense of a new place. Currently I am living on campus in a room with a roomie so I can not host people my self. But once I'm back in Copenhagen I will hopefully have room for a couch.

Interests

I love music and I have played the piano and vocal performance since I was a kid. Currently I am singing in a classical choir at Boston University. In Copenhagen I play in a cover band with a few other Anthropology Students.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music:
I love the old stuff. The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, The Doors. And I also have a weakness for Country music, Johnny Cash in particular. My favorite artist is Joni Mitchell, if you haven't heard Case of You, please listen do.

Movies:
My favorite movie is Flipped. It might seem like a kids-movie, but it is a very beautiful story.

Books:
Like most of my generation I have been obsessed with Harry Potter since I learned how to read. Some other children classics I keep re-reading are The Golden Compass series. Apart from this I love Russian litturature, Tolstoj in particular.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I don't think it is about the things you do, but about the people you meet. I did once mistake Santa for being a GDR symbol which was amazingly stupid.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am always up for cooking a meal, sharing a bottle of wine or sharing stories.

Countries I’ve Visited
