Overview
About Me
I'm a college student from Singapore who is taking the chance to travel during her exchange program at the University of Glasgow. I plan to visit and experience as much of Europe as much as possible while I'm there so I won't be spending much time in my room but I would love to get to know more people. I love food, books, oh and I play the violin (badly). I speak both English and Mandarin as first languages and very poor French (I took 1 semester of it so that I may be able to read menus >.).
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Looking for people to connect with and see a different side of the place I'm visiting. And hoping to stretch my budget abit so I get to see more places!

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: I like a number of genres, mostly pop rock, pop and some country. Also listen to mandopop and classical music, especially violin music. Favourite piece is probably Schubert's Ave Maria played on violin.
Favourite Movies: I like comedy, Sandra Bullock movies, animation, pixars etc.
Favourite Books: Roald Dahl is probably my favourite author of all time and at whatever age. Other books: "Surely you are joking, Mr Feynman", "A Little Princess", Xanth Series, etc etc. I read a fair bit from multiple genres.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Been mostly able to earn or obtain my own spending money and expenses since Junior College (kinda like High School). I try not to rely on my parents for money since they are retired.
Teach, Learn, Share
I guess if you are interested I can you how to speak/ read/ write simple Chinese. I'm more than happy to talk about my travels or if you share an interest in Science we can discuss that!
