26-year-old student, living in Berlin, born and raised there, too. Berlin is a great city and at least for the summer months I can't imagine any better place. Still, I'm keen to live somewhere else again and that's why I will apply to Copenhagen to continue my studies there, as of February 2016.

I'm an easy-going person, love to spend time with my friends and can be very talkative and entertaining once I know people and feel comfortable in their presence. I also have loads of energy and don't need too much rest, so I'm always up for whatever activities.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I only did CS via my friends' accounts when I was on Erasmus in Sweden, had really good times with my hosts, met great people. That's why I decided not to rely on others any more and get my own account. I made a lot of new friends during my time in Stockholm, and that's where I learnt how valuable it is to meet people with so many different cultural backgrounds and, most important, maintain those contacts. I hope to make similar experiences through CS.

Music, Movies, and Books

In terms of music a selection of literally everything: (indie)rock, some pop, hip hop, electronic, classical, soul, r&b, folk. If I had to pick a favourite band, though, it would probably be Arcade Fire.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Everything I can write here is again related to traveling, not very creative. Anyway, pretty amazing for me were my canoeing trips in the Swedish and Finnish wilderness, and road trips in France and Italy.

Teach, Learn, Share

Everytime I went couch surfing, I had a great time with my hosts who showed me around and introduced me to the places that I visited, to an extent that I wouldn't have expected and never asked for. It was always incredibly enjoyable, so that's how I want to take care of my potential guests, too.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'm always in for whatever there is to do. I love to spend time with other people and going out for drinks or anything else, cooking (even though I prefer to be instructed by someone who is a better chef than I am), chatting,...you name it.
