I'm Lý Ngọc Ánh in Vietnamese, you can call me Jennie , Jennifer, Ánh or Anh if you think it's easier to call my name.
My major is International Business Administration (IBA).
I'm a student in Ho Chi Minh City for year 2 at University. I'm not a local person living in Ho Chi Minh City though my hometown is also the other place in the South of Vietnam. I have just lived in HCMC for 2 years.

I really love the puppies and really hate the cats. When I was a child, a cat badly bited me and made me get some terrible scars, thus I am very allergic of fucking cats >"<
Honestly, I probably go insane so badly with my close friends or when we got closer hahaha.... At least, you cannot imagine that how crazy I am !!!
I am not a social and morning person anyway, but it doesn't mean I am not friendly :)
I just have some close friends for myself and a few new nice friends who are alright. Maybe, I am very sentive, easy to be angry or too vulnerable about something bad or confused everyone does to me. I have my own style which is not very serious, not very corrupt, I'm just trying to be a strong girl to face to my indenpendent life apart from home at the moment. Sometimes, I am very bad at some things such as behaviors or talking and so on; however, I would love to make new friends who would also love to be friends with me. Moreover, when I am alone, I am a silent girl deeply inside my soul though I am very talkative and talk much to my friends :))
Some of my friends told that I had been a comlex person and difficult to talk when we first met, then we really became nice friends together after talking, through understadings.
On the other hand, I am a bit clumsy, extremely absent-minded and lazy about doing housework, doing homework, studying even though I still really like to study and go to University so much, especially to English which I want to be better at all the time. I would like to make my skills such as: Speaking, Listening better and better without wasting lots of money for studying in the expensive English centers here. I have learned lots of Grammar, Reading, Writing whole the time whilst I have gone to study at schools, University which are such boring things that I have to study all the time. I cannot learn many languages because I might be very stupid :(
Not only can I hang out a lot, but also be home lots hahaha...
Whilst I am not home with my family, I would like to go out with friends for drinking or eating somewhere nice and cheap. Most of times when I stay at home with my Mommy, I just want to spend it on her as I have to live far away from her for studying, living in this city for a very long time. I really miss my Mom very much, I hope one day I'll have lots of money, lots of times to take care of my Mom more than today. It might be the reason why I'm trying to live well, study with my best, be nicer everyday though I'm not that good, not that perfect anyway. I also like traveling lots of countries around the world, but I like the USA and European countries most ^^ ! I cannot travel a lot now because I have no enough money, I am still depended on my family's finance, we have to pay for everything here. Maybe, next some years, I am going to travel around my beautiful country at first to explore places here before dreaming to travel around the world hahaha... However, it will be a very long time :( a bit sad, I am not lucky when I wasn't born in a developed country. Additionally, I am very lucky when I was born in a beautiful country like Vietnam, a poor country doesn't mean everything is also poor, it's very nice in its own ways hehehe...

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Honestly, I have just known CS for a bit and don't really think it's interesting like this. I got lots of friends from CS and we really became nicely good friends together. CS is not very popularly famous in my country, but I think one day it will be very popular as the young people would love to make friends and help out the foreigners coming to visit our country. The young students, young people in my country are lovely, friendly, heplful, active and really open to make friends with foreigners. Not only want they to practise English with foreigners, but also want to make friends, make fun things, joys, happiness. So do I, so am I :)

I like to read books so much. Especially, some books of the Vietnamese romantic stories of young authors; moreover, Harry Potter, Twilight and so on though the books are expensive these days and I rarely read books as I have to go to University, hang out with friends, study for exams. Sometimes, I go to bookstores here or libraries for reading books freely without buying them hahahaha... Maybe, I borrow some interesting books from my friends :3
I like to watch some US-UK films or some good films which are interesting to me.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hung out with 2 friends who are the same age from UK. I thought I would be a tour guide instead of studying Internatinal Business Administration. We suddenly met on Bui Vien Street and booked to go by motorbikes together haha...
