Overview
About Me
I'm a 25 year old gay British female who got a bit fed up of the 9-5 life in London and wanted some adventure. I've been travelling since October 2015 and at the moment am training up to get my dive master qualification here in Australia.
I would say i'm a pretty outgoing person who is always up for some fun and good conversations, but I don't underestimate the value of a nice chilled out evening enjoying music or films.
I am a very clean and considerate person, who respects personal space and won't treat your place like a hotel room or a hostel! I am more than happy to help out with whatever I can while i'm staying. I love pets and miss having a dog/cats in my life so don't worry if you have pets, I will treat them with the upmost respect and love. In fact if you have pets it will make me want to stay more.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love meeting new people but sometimes hostels just aren't the best environment to do so. I also love cooking and this just isn't really possible in a tiny kitchen you're sharing with about 20 other people and no clean pots or pans.
Plus you can't really beat home comforts like a proper bathroom and a sofa. Also being able to talk to someone local and hear about where they recommend is the best way to travel. I enjoy the tourist experience, but you cant really beat those backstreet or quieter areas that locals visit.
Interests
I have a very broad taste in music and films so chances are we will have some film or musician we like in common. I can sit for hours discussing plots of films or rumours surrounding new films.

Music, Movies, and Books
I always find these sections the hardest to fill out so i'm just going to throw out some names that either first come to me, or i've been listening to in the last week or so.
Music:
Eric Clapton, Steely Dan, Alanis Morissette, P!nk, Santana, Muse, Avicii, Sia, Louisa Johnson.....
Movies:
The Lord of the Rings (I can quote pretty much every line to each film - yes i'm a little proud of this), anything by Tarantino (I have yet to see Reservoir Dogs though), Star Wars (NOT the prequel trilogy), most Pixar films, Zombieland. Basically I will watch almost anything as I love films.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I climbed Mt Kilimanjaro to raise money for charity when I was at University. But to be honest I don't think that that is even that amazing, I just never know what to write in these sections other than that.
Teach, Learn, Share
I am always happy to help people with swimming as that is one of the things I am qualified to do, and have been doing for a good few years now. I'm not the most amazing of cooks but the few things I do cook I can do very well. I also have a range of dishes/recipes I have picked up whilst travelling and would love someone to cook them with / be a judge on if i've done them well.
I am up to learn anything and everything. I had a 3 month stay on a cattle farm in Australia so learnt a lot of skills involved with raising beef cattle on the job and thoroughly enjoyed it. I also helped out a lot with DIY and woodwork for the family which I found pretty relaxing.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can share with you good conversation and stories from my travels. I like to cook so I can share that with you as well. I also would like to say that when I do get back home or somewhere I can call home for an extended stay I would like to repay the kindness and generosity you show me, by either paying it forward to other backpackers/travellers, or to you if you are ever in need of a space.
