My name is Alcides, I'm 31 years old i was born in Argentina and I've been living in Barcelona for the last 8 years. I studied filmmaking, and I've been working in Barcelona and in Formentera (a small island next to ibiza) since i finished studying. Traveling for me is a need, and CS its a good way to get to know not only the place, but more important the people that live there.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

When i start traveling 9 years ago, i came to barcelona, and at the begging there was people that helped me until i get my own apartment. Since then i always host friends and people that i didn't know. Its a good way to return the favor, its good for the karma, and its good to know other cultures, languages, and people. Its not just sleeping in someone else couch, its a good exchange in many levels that helps expanding your mind.

Interests

I like: Taking pictures, movies, playing the trumpet, cooking (the more people eating, better), doing sport (running, soccer, or anything outdoors), going to the beach and the mountain (i enjoy both the same), live music, going out with friends, biking….and enjoying life!
