I can be called by my first name, Anwar. Im a 19 year old student living in Kuala lumpur. Born in Medan, Indonesia to a Malaysian father and Indonesian mother. Spent first 3 years of my life in Medan until we moved to Kuala Lumpur. At 5, we moved to Langkawi, an island located on the northern of peninsular malaysia and moved back to Kuala Lumpur at 10 year old. Im an adventurous and outgoing person, love to explore anything new to my usual environment. I might be a bit shy haha during first meet, but then after hopefully i will get comfortable.

Interests

Im still new to couchsurfing, was introduced to this by a close friend. Basically, while im still a student and has plenty of free time, i just want to travel and meet people, learning about cultures of others. My aim is just to travel Asia first for the mean time, then only spread to other continents.

Music, Movies, and Books

I specifically enjoy listening to any songs of the rock genre. I prefer rock bands of the 80's and 90's rather than the current ones. Red Hot Chili Peppers has been a band i listen to most of the time. Also, a legendary blues rock band from Indonesia called "Slank" that i look up to. In terms of movies, i prefer something action or comedy.
