Overview
About Me
Hello! My name is Fábio and currently I'm an exchange student in Lisbon.
I used to work as a copywriter in advertsing agencys (actually I still do some stuff), but than decided to change my area to Physical Education. I'm passionate about sports (to play and/or just watch - specially football).
Got a scholarship for an exchange, so I'm spending a year in Europe and trying to make the most of it!
I'm a little bit shy, but when the subject is something I'm really interested, I can talk for hours.
I don't have references from Couchsurfing, but I have a couple of comments on AirBnB:

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm a begginer in traveling, so I'm trying to learn a few tips for some more experience travelers and, of course, meet interesting people.
And...since I had to quit my job in Brazil, it would be nice to save some money on accommodation on the trips hahaha
Interests
I love to learn about the stories of different cities and places.
I think spending time with someone that lives in the city, is the best way to really feel the city.
- cultural immersion
- new experiences
- sharing stories
- save money
Music, Movies, and Books
I enjoy rock (Queen, Bowie, Nirvana) and MPB (Brazilian popular music- Gilberto Gil, Caetano Veloso), but any kind of music that makes me want to dance is alright!
I like all kinds of movies and TV shows, but my favorite one is "The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou" by Wes Anderson (Seu Jorge singing David Bowie's songs in portuguese) and almost every movie by Spike Jonze, Richard Linklater, Woody Allen and Charlie Kaufman.
On TV/Netflix my favorite shows are comedies, like The Office, Community, Parks And Recreation, Bojack Horseman, Rick and Morty...
I guess my favorite writer would be Milan Kundera. I also like Hemingway, Murakami and some Brazilian writers.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Hopefully someday I'll be able to write something here hahahaha
Once I did a Stand Up Comedy performance for 20 people, which, considering that I'm an introvert and shy, was a big deal.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Well, I can tell a little bit of Brazilian Culture. And I promise I'll bring some Portuguese desserts (pastel de nata and salame), althought, I may eat then on the bus.
