About Me

I'm a journalist and art critic from São Paulo now doing research at the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor. I grew up in Brazil and the United States and also spent some time living in Europe. I mostly write about art and architecture and these are the two things I'm crazy about.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have been on Couchsurfing for quite some time, have been a guest and have hosted many travelers before, but only now joined again with a new account (couldn't retrieve my old one). I'm working on a book about São Paulo and Detroit, so my main goal here now is to somehow tap into the creative community of Detroit and give back as much as I can.

Interests

I'm crazy about the visual arts, something I've studied all my life, and now getting more and more involved with archicture and urban planning, things I'm researching here in Ann Arbor. Traveling is another great passion, hope to keep doing it for the rest of my life.
