Overview
About Me
I grew up in Virginia but moved to Texas in August 2015 for an adventure. I'm a reporter, so I'm 0% shy, ask a lot of questions and am interested in everything and everyone.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
After college I took off on a two month backpacking trip. My suspicions were confirmed - the world is interesting and beautiful and nothing beats minimalist living out of a backpack. I originally chose hostels and Air B&B's due to their affordability, but grew to love them for the fellow travelers and locals I was able to meet. I didn't learn about Couch Surfing until after my trip, but am excited to use it in the future.
I'm already saving and planning for my next journey abroad and hope to do smaller trips stateside until then.
In the meantime, I'm excited to open my home to support other people's adventures. My central Texas location is convenient for those passing through or as home base for exploring bigger Texas cities. I'm an hour from Austin, two hours from Dallas and San Antonio and three from Houston.
I have a guestroom and guest bathroom and live with my boyfriend and cat.
