Hello my name is Paulo and I came to Europe with the intention of working in different countries. I am a tattoo artist, in Brazil, at the Café Preto Tattoo studio in Florianópolis, a studio where the exchange of artists focuses. I lived for 4 months in Germany in 2017, with the intention of doing a product design research project, a course that I am finishing in Brazil. Since then, I've been trying to travel to the fullest in Brazil and now out of the country, to exchange experiences with different people from different cultures and to be able to learn and take the little of each with me.

Olá me chamo Paulo e vim pra a Europa com o intuito de trabalhar em diferentes países. Sou tatuador, no Brasil, no estúdio Café Preto Tattoo em Florianópolis, estúdio onde tem como foco o intercâmbio de artistas. Morei por 4 meses na Alemanha em 2017, com o intuito de fazer um projeto de pesquisa de Design de Produto, curso que estou terminando no Brasil. Desde então, venho tentando viajar ao máximo dentro do Brasil e agora para fora do país, trocar experiências com diferentes pessoas de diferentes culturas e poder aprender e levar o pouco de cada um comigo.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like stoner rock, hardcore punk, experimental post rock, but already in party I usually prefer to listen to raps from the 80's and 2000’s. I love terror / horror stories, both in movies and in books, my favorite writer currently has been HP Lovecraft.

Eu gosto de stoner rock, hardcore punk, experimental post rock, mas já em festa costumo preferir ouvir raps dos anos 80 e 2000. Eu adoro histórias de horror/terror, tanto em filmes quanto em livros, meu escritor preferido atualmente tem sido H. P. Lovecraft.

I lived in Germany last year studying, now I back to Europe just to working and traveling.

Teach, Learn, Share

I like to learn about different cultures, different types of seeing and making art, exchange experiences and knowledge. In Brazil I study product design and I am a tattoo artist, but I have also taken courses in woodcut, digital drawing and watercolor painting, I believe that the greater the multidisciplinary nature of the person, the richer it becomes.
Eu gosto de aprender sobre diferentes culturas, diferentes tipos de se ver e fazer arte, trocar experiencias e conhecimentos. No Brasil estudo Design de Produto e sou tatuador, mas também já fiz cursos de Xilogravura, desenho digital e pintura em aquarela, acredito que quanto maior a multidisciplinaridade da pessoa, mais rica ela se torna.
