About Me
Hi!
I'm a 20 years old girl and the first thing about me that comes to my mind is that i'm an unconditional fan of Harry Potter (JK Rowling is my mother of dragons ♥ (yes, I'm also a fan of Game of Thrones)). As you can see I watch some series (I'm a real addict) and I also watch many many films ! But books are also something I can't live without.
I study in Strasbourg and I want to become a book translator but also a french assistant in England or in Ireland or even in Scotland or Wales for some times.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love the English accent but I find the Welch accent soooooo cute!
Unfortunately I'm a very shy person but I hope it will change. I'd like to talk to new people to practice my English and to discover new cultures. I can teach you some French things in exchange!
Interests
My dream is to do a road trip in my pickup, with my wolf sitting in the seat next to me (alright I know I can't have a wolf but I can have a wolfdog, and her or his name will be Sam, like in the movie "I am a legend" with Will Smith).
When I was little, my parents my brother and I used to go camping, we even bought a camping car and it was amazing. I have only been in a hotel room once but I prefer camping :)
I love animals, like really the world wouldn't be the same without them.
I had a lovely dog called Rita, she was a dalmatian, I grew up with her but she passed away 3 years ago (it broke my heart). Now I have an adorable Australian shepherd called Jumper (trust me his name is just perfect, I don't know how many bruises I've already had because of his....jumps).
I also have a cat, who was born under my bed 5 years ago (yeah I saw everything I was so moved I called my mum like "oh my god mummy there's tiny kittens under my bed!!" and then I went to my dog (Rita at the time) and give her a hug to calm me down). Her name is Fleya but she doesn't know it because everybody call her "Minou".....

Music, Movies, and Books
I already told you about my Harry Potter addiction.... I read a lot of books (different genres such as new adult, fantastic, fantasy, romance, historical,...).
I like many different kinds of movies (currently my favorite movie is Now You See Me 2).
I listen to different sort of music too, such as rock, mainstream, classic (Time by Hans Zimmer transports me in a different world every single time I listen to it), country (actually I did country line dance when I was younger), pop, ...
I have many favorite books. Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows is number 1, and after it's impossible for me to classify my favorite books. I can give some examples such as Lux, Lord of the Rings, Divergent, The Edge of Never, Rebecca Kean, Eragon, Feral Sins, Wait For You, Noss Head's Stars, Colocs, Me Before You.... (okay I have to stop there my list is sooooo long)
I watched many many many many (...) series such as Game of Thrones, the Walking Dead, Fear the Walking Dead, Vikings, The Big Bang Theory, Californication, Peaky Blinders, The 100, Dexter, Vampire Diaries, The Originals, Hart of Dixie, The Legend of the Seeker, Pretty Little Liars, American Horror Story, Once Upon a Time, Teen Wolf, Flash, Ghost Whisperer, IZombie, Jessica Jones, ......
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
When I was about 12 (I think), I was in holidays in the South of France, and the camping where we were with my family had a swimming pool. I was in the water when a little girl (about 5years old) jumped in the water while her mother wasn't watching and she just sank to the bottom. I was the only person in the water and the mum started screaming she was so panicked. So I put her out of the water. It was as if all of this lasted for a long time but it really lasted just some seconds. After that the mother offered me an ice cream :P
Teach, Learn, Share
I tant to discuss with other people in English (or French if it can help some of you!), I want to speak English as fluently as I speak French.
I'd like to discover the way English people think, I mean every nationality has its own way of thinking.
I want to know what it is to live like a Britain/Irish/American person.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can teach you how to be a French person, I can teach teach you French food, or Alsacian food (you need to know that I am really proud to be Alsacian, all my family speaks Alsacian). When my grandmother passed away I took the responsibility with my dad to convey her cooking tradition.
